Steps I took to create this project

1. First I opened Photoshop

2. Then I selected - "New File" - "Print:" - "Letter"

3. Then I searched the on the internet for a character I wanted to color 

4. After that I turned off the visibility on my background to make it transparent 

5. I used the magic want tool to click any other areas in the background I didnt want 

6. After turning off the visibility on my background, I went to "Layer" and pressed "Merge Visible" 

7. Then I duplicated the flat layer and renamed it to "Line Art"

8. I then locked down the "Line Art" layer 

9. Then I used the magic wand tool to select the spots I wanted to color and clicked "Select" - "Motify" - "Expand"

10. Then I used the paint brush tool, paint bucket, and eyedropper tool to grab the color I wanted to use 

11. To add shadows I right clicked the "Flat COlor" layer to duplicate it, renaming that layer "Shading" and locked it

12. Selectng the plus button to add a blank layer and renaming it "Swatches"

13. Using the eyedrop tool, I clicked the color I wanted to copy and chose a darker and one lighter color for shadows and highlights

14. I went back on my shading layer and used the magic wand tool to select the areas I wanted shadows on

15. I then used a soft brush tool to add them

I believe I exceeded the standards because I successfully completed and met all the requirement needed.
