Reflection

1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create your video resume in Adobe Premiere Rush. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools and processes as possible.

  1. I started off by writing my script including my name, grade, abilities, and past performances.

  2. When I finished, I started on recording my "A" script parts by parts using my phone, tripod, and mic

  3. I then got started on making my intro cover on Canva by selecting my background color and downloading cutout letters, when done I exported it onto Capcut.

  4. I got onto Capcut and went on the music library and added an audio I liked as a base, then imported my intro cover

  5. After that, I imported all my "A " unedited clips I filmed and started by cutting any misspoken words, pauses, and little sturres for the best look.

  6. Then I, adjusted them to the audio so others would hear as I spoke.

  7. After my "A" clips were done I started to work on my "B" clips by looking for photos and videos that would back up what I stated in my "A" clip.

  8. I added clips of my abilities as an athlete, student, and overall person. With each step, I adjusted clips to my personal taste.

  9. After I was satisfied with everything, I logged into my personal email and started by uploading it on YouTube making sure it wasn't copyrighted. I then copied my link and submitted and was done!.

2. How does a video resume differ from a traditional paper resume?

A video resume differs from a traditional resume by giving you the advantage of showing your personality, backing up what you state in a traditional resume, and being able to show more than what you can explain.

3. How might you use your video resume in the future and how would you update it to further help you?

I can use my video resume in the future when I am seeking a job, college, or to show others my skills and talents with one video. I can update it to further help me by uploading new opportunities in the near future to increase other's views.

4. Based on the learning target, "Prepare Video Resume Portfolios created for a variety of purposes and applications appropriate for 21st-century sector opportunities by producing a storyboard, script, audio and video clips then combining them in Adobe Premiere” What level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding) Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

My project demonstrates meets and needs work level of mastery. It shows this because I had missed some key features I feel as if I could've added to better my video. For example, my video wasn't edited to the best of my ability, and didn't finish it entirely.
